Most talked about in the fashion world right now:
John Galliano got fired from Dior it was just announced, due to the incident that happened this weekend (I wrote about it a few days ago, here) and the video which was published by The Sun. I agree with Vogue Italia’s Franca Sozzani when she wrote:
“While I condemn John’s words, I am frightened by how quick these young people were to try to gain notoriety or money while destroying the image of a genius in the process” (read her full text here)
Who will succeed him as the head of Dior? Romours say it could be the current Yves Saint Laurent designer Stefano Pilati…

“You’re ugly and your fucking bag is ugly too”
Eye witnesses at the Parisian bar La Perle claims the quote above is was what Dior’s Creative Director John Galliano told a woman and her boyfriend last night. However, the couple themselves said Galliano made antisemitic insults, something which led to Galliano being arrested by the police, he did an alcohol test and was later escorted home. Today Dior confirmed they are suspending the 50 year old designer until further notice.
“The House of Dior declares with the greatest firmness its policy of zero tolerance with regard to any antisemitic or racist statement or attitude,” the head of Dior, Sidney Toledano, said in a statement. We still haven’t hear Mr. Galliano’s side of the story.
All of this the week before Paris Fashion Week where Dior is going to showcase their AW11 collection. What a fashion circus. Innocent until proven guilty is my thoughts on this whole thing. I can’t imagine Dior without him…

Jättegod pasta – me like!

Let’s put it that way.
