Notting Hill Carnival

Tomorrow is the start of Notting Hill Carnival which will be going on for three days with the parade on monday which is bank holiday. All of the shops around Portobello Road and Westbourne Grove have boarded up and will be closed for the next three days, I did my grocery shopping today after work. Most recidents in Notting Hill leaves the area for the weekend as thousands and thousands of people will gather around.The police have given out some kind off passes to the residents on our street, because our street will be shut so we will need the passes to get through.
It will be interesting to see the carnival, I’ve always wanted to see it, but I think it’s another feeling living in the middle of it! Hope it dosn’t get to out of control, especially with concern to the recent London riots.
